I am seeing 'passport data page' on a lot of DOS applications in addition to the standard i612/613, fees, DS3035, DS 2019 and Statement of Reason. I do not have that/ do not think that was submitted. Is this a necessary document for DOS to process the case ?

I don’t have it either. I spoke to my lawyer and he said not everyone’s document panel looks the same. He said he did submit the passport page though

I also have it. I think you can email it to DOS and make sure they confirm they have everything to decide on your case.

@extreme_hardship:  do you know that person that got approved in almost 1 year while most of us have been waiting almost 2 years? was it a exceptional hardship or persecution hardship?

Persecution will say persecution Not Hardship

It is hardship. Recently, most of the cases are 1 year.

How do you figure out your DOS case number? Do you get a letter when they receive the documents like USCIS? Or is it the same case number you use on the USCIS website?

you need to file a DS-3035 to DOS. During this process, you will have a case number.

Thank you for the update. That took 72weeks for fav rec   I'm at 51 weeks. Painful to wait with J1 expiring in September.

Mine was received by DOS on October 17th of 2021 but still pending. J1 Expired in December of 2022, relocated to my home country,  lost my job, currently unemployed 🙃.
