Congratulations! It’s interesting that they didn’t request sponsor views. Did you get gov funding from the US or Vietnam?

My case is complicated. I got VN gov funding for Master and US gov funding for PhD. I got no objection letter from VN gov (for No objection - but DOS did not favor), then I applied for hardship.

Congrats!

I have a similar situation as yours. Just wanted to check, did they ask for sponsor views when you applied with No Objection? That may explain why they did not ask for one again with hardship?

Congratulations!!

Any September 2021 DOS-ers here? Do I have the oldest case that's stuck at the bottom of the pile at this point? I stopped checking the website, and basically lost hope that they will ever get to my case. I feel like I'm gonna open it up in 2029 and it will still say "PENDING"

We're August 2021 at DOS and still pending...

Congratulations great. Exactly when USCIS forwarded your case to DOS? January 12, 2022 is the date DOS showed it on its portal.

In some cases DOS taking 5, 6 months just to upload it on its portal.

I submitted my i612 to USCIS and DS3035 at the same time ( receipt date Sep 2021- get the receipt number from USCIS and track my case status on DOS).

USCIS "case on hold" since Dec 2021.

i613 received on DOS on Jan 2022. (about 1 month).

my grace period ended Jan 14 2023.

I left to come back to home country on Jan 9 2023, arrived on Jan 11 2023. It showed Favor when I checked my status on Jan 12.

Now the university starts process my H1B application.
