Thank you for your reply. I remember my lawyer had prepared DS3035 at the time of submission to USCIS. I dont know where he had sent it(uscis or DOS). But i will ask him about the tracking number.

I meant where is the number written, but never mind i asked my lawyer.

When you file a DoS DS-3035 you will be issued a WRD number. That's the number you track on https://j1visawaiverstatus.state.gov

No. Case pending with DOS from the last 8 months. When inquired, DOS replies first in first out. No movement.

Good luck to us. I'll let you know when I get my rec (pending since Sep 2021 so now 14 months+)

Few months = 12+ months at least. My case along side few others have been pending at the DOS since last year September and even august. I hope they fix their backlogs.

Sadly that’s probably what’s going to happen. The DOS has been taking forever to decide these cases and even expedite requests are not working with them.

DS3025 to DOS - October 2020

Form I612 to USCIS - April 27, 2021 (forgot to submit it on time)

I612 to DOS - September 30, 2021

FR - September 05, 2022

Now, I'm waiting for the letter from DOS and approval from USCIS

Hello Pillowchis, congrats on your Favorable Recommendation! Have you received your approval letter from USCIS yet? in my case, I got the FR on April 28th 2022, but I'm still waiting for USCIS final letter.

Thank you. Sorry to hear that. Yes, I did received it. I emailed USCIS about my case because it was beyond the processing time. after 2 weeks they sent the approval letter. Try to email them and for sure they will reply immediately.

I mean is there a specific email address you used?

None. I checked the processing time for hardship waiver in the website then answer the questions about my case (bottom part of their website). Please check the screenshot for your reference.

Yes!I inquired about the case status earlier this month and I was told that my case should be processed in the next 52 weeks.

You should try again now they are officially over that time. Honestly it’s really ridiculous and the fact that your options are limited when dealing with DOS is making me feel helpless.

Thank you for the suggestion! I will try again. However, I don't expect anything different at this point.
