I am trying to keep track of my entries also when it is time for filling the d260 I have everything documented. I have a question for my fellow Canadians who cross the border by land. Do you always get an online I-94? Also do you always get a new I-94 or just are re-admitted on the same I-94 as long as it is still valid and your intended stay length is still far from the I-94 expiry?

Mod hat off

Not all Canadians get an I-94 for every entry. It seems it is hit or miss for some.

Oh really. That is kinda weird. So do you automatically get a 6 months visit every time you visit?

Just go pull your I-94 history.  Its an option on the I-94 retrieval site.  I think there are more "missed" entries when people cross by land.

If you fly and have a frequent flyer account, that's a great way to look up your history.

If you're going to have to fill out the DS-260, collect any/all addresses you've lived at since you were 16.  I moved a lot and this was a royal pain!
