Right.  It is the medical results.   Like I said.

I don’t think it’s the medical report because our medical report wasn’t there on the interview day.VO told after interview that everything seems to be fine and I will take my final decision after your medical report arrive. We did our medical the day before the interview.May be medical report will be along with the remaining packets. He gave 5 packets after interview and informed rest of the packets will be delivered with the passport.

"Rest of packets"?  How many people are immigrating?

Most likely the administrative processing has nothing to do with the medicals because medicals are normally not a reason for administrative processing. The consulate can simply look at what was provided in the medical exam and make a decision.

Administrative processing is usually for security reasons, where they need time to conduct additional investigations. It often happens if your name is similar to the name of someone who is suspected of having ties to a terrorist group or if you work in a field that is on the Technology Alert List (TAL). If this is the case, all you have to do is sit tight and once they've verified that there is no national security risk, they will notify you that your visa can be issued.

It means VO kept your passports after the interview? I think it will be fine for you. At least, they kept your passports.

Have you contact to the hospital to know the date the hospital did send your reports? I saw some thread, a lot of people have stuck in the Embassy like you because they don't have the medical report at the time of interview. In Dublin, they are waiting for 2 months because of that.

Hello. We had our EB3 interview in Auckland on 4 May and our status has not yet changed online.  Still shows "Ready", same as it was before the interview.  I have checked with the consulate and they say the officer is still adjudicating the application.  How long after your interview was your visa approved and issued?

Wow, that's a very long time to wait.  We're on 38 days since our interview.  Status still says "Ready", no updates to the case on CEAC since the interview.  No issues with medicals as these were on file when we attended the interview, no other documents requested.  I've contacted the consulate on numerous occasions and they simply say the case is being processed and they'll notify us when it has been completed.  No idea whether this means we need to wait days, weeks, or months.  Quite frustrating.  In the mean time they still have our passports so that's perhaps the only positive here...

Most probably the Consulate will be waiting for the Security Advisory Opinion which has to be given from Washington.Nowadays it’s mandatory for Immigrant Visa.Just wait…….you can expect the visa in a couple of weeks.

Any idea how long Security Advisory Opinions are taking to process at the moment?
