Happy Wednesday everyone!

Not so happy for me though. :(

As some of you may know, my husband FINALLY had his waiver interview with Casa after over a year in AP. His interview was on June 12. The next step is for the file to be sent to Rome for their final decision. I sent an email to Rome requesting receipt of his file at their office. (They've been great to answer back within a day or so). As of today, STILL they have not received his file...after 4 weeks!!!! :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

They would not give us the choice of paying for overnight fees...which we gladly would have paid. We are SO close to the end of this ordeal. WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG?????????

Not having "received" the file, could mean that it is in rome, but has not been processed into the system yet because there is a long line ahead of you. Maybe this is just semantics and doesn;t help a bit :help: Hope you hear something very very soon! (F)

That's kind of what I've been hoping for. I sent an email to Casa today as well to see if they could tell me that at least his case has left their office....I'm keeping paws crossed.

We are just SOOOOOOOOOOOO close after waiting SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long...after all this time, I don't have much patience left.

That's about the story of us all here, isn't it.

Thanks though. :)

Allousa, I hope you get good news soon. As bad as it is for people who go through normally and don't undergo extra review or needing a waiver, it is so much worse for the people who fall outside the standard procedures.
