January/ February filer here too, nothing other than fingerprints applied to my case on 03.28. Have an upcoming international trip, hope all goes well with coming back in using the extension letter and the expired green card.

My last VJ estimate said that the approval estimate is on 02.10.2023. Exactly a year after filing. We’ll see.

Well here goes our window opens in a few days first week of the New Year (January 4th, 2022!)  I'll be sending the packet off January 5th, gonna use UPS as FedEx has been messing up lately (I used FedEx both times before without a hitch). The packet is 99.7% finished just waiting on a final December bank statement and I'm done! Nothing like a fresh New Year to start things off. Seems like yesterday we were struggling with the K1 and then the AOS. I did manage to submit both prior packets without the assistance of a lawyer, and no RFE (knock on wood). Those of you that remember we even got a wavier for the AOS interview. I loaded this packet with everything but the kitchen sink, perhaps we can get lucky again like with the AOS and have no interview for ROC, stranger things have happened! If there is an interview won't be a big deal we'll deal with it as it comes. So Happy New Year and I'll start this thing off:

This by no means is the gospel, it is just the way I chose to do our packet and it works for us. Thought I would share for those of you who are not sure what format to use. Pick and choose it always works! here is the cover letter I went with:

                                                                                                                                                xxxxxxx X, xxxx

USCIS

Attn: I-751 (Box 21200)

1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S

Suite 100

Phoenix, AZ 85034-4850

ORIGINAL SUBMISSION

RE: I-751 JOINT PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

FOR xxxxxxxxxxxxx A# xxx xxx xxx

U.S. Citizen Spouse:

xxxxxxxx (DOB: xx/xx/xxxx; SSN:xxx-xx-xxxx)

Conditional Resident Spouse:

xxxxxxxx (DOB: xx/xx/xxxx; SSN:xxx-xx-xxxx)

Dear USCIS Examiner:

Enclosed please find attached Form I-751 and materials to support removal of conditions on residence for my wife, xxxxxxxx. USCIS granted her conditional permanent residence on xxxx xxxx xxxxx.

The materials, which show a merging of our personal and financial lives since marriage (xxxxxxx  xx, xxxx), are organized in tab dividers for your convenience. For ease of review, pertinent information is highlighted in yellow, followed with a sticky tab explanation if needed. All materials are one-sided copies, if the original was two-sided the copy has been broken down and copied on a separate one-sided sheet for your ease of review.

Thank you for your prompt processing of this petition and for what we hope is your favorable response at your earliest opportunity.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxxxx

The packet is fairly thick so thick I used two pieces of cardboard as a backing to the keep the packet or book some might call it rigid. I used ACCO fasteners, sticky tabs on the inside and dividers. I will attach pictures of the packet here:

The blue pieces paper represent bookmarks and will be removed, they were used by me to assist in adding more content ( I have been working on this thing since October 2021 and I am glad I started early as I got to take my time. I'll do a final check on the I - 751 form to see whats current, sign it, add the check then off to UPS on the 5th of January 2022.

To some this might be overkill, but I wanted to give myself every chance for success the first time! Good luck to all the  January 2022 filers. We all can do this, we got this folks. I just wanted to share with everyone who might be drawing blanks!

This is such a useful post. Thank you for sharing this!

Hi all, long time VJ stalker here. Nothing to report but thought I’d add my own ROC journey so far.
We filed I-751 in early Jan and were assigned to SRC. Unfortunately I’m still waiting on biometrics after all this time - I went through consular processing, so fully expecting an appointment. Following advice from this forum, I submitted a service request for potentially missing bio notice, but the request was misunderstood and I received a duplicate extension letter.
We’re also planning on moving home in the next couple of months, which is giving me some anxiety over potentially missing letters! Hoping a mix of AR11, I865 and USPS forwarding will make sure nothing gets missed 🤞🏻

Hello! I filed December 2021 but can’t seem to find the thread for that. No updates but just wanted to check in here. April 2022 I received notification that bio will be reused. But other than that, crickets. I guess I will just wait until October because USCIS case processing time says WAC cases usually processed within 10 months. I get anxious checking everyday. 😐 Good luck to all!

Same here and we are hoping they can waive the biometrics as I see so many have had theirs waived due to the extreme backlog from the pandemic. Our estimate approval isn't till February of next year. Anyway we have a 24 month extension so hopefully soon.

Did you put in another service request? I would put them in until they answer!

Hellow guys, we filed i751 in January,  however we just received noa1, and that stated that letter means extension of green card for 2 years. However we havnt gotten any appointment for fingerprints or anything. Only 1 letter we received that said our case was transferred to some other office.

   Is it normal?

It's fairly normal to transfer a case, but it has been an excessive amount of time to get your NOA wow...when exactly did you get your NOA and what center was handling your case and where is it being transferred too? Being that it was in the process of being transferred they took an excessive amount of time to get you your NOA. Once your case gets where it is going I would submit a support request for a lost document referring to your bio-metrics appointment! If they sent you a transfer notification letter i would put in the support request ASAP. Read thru this thread to find out how to send the support request. Lots of here in the thread sent in the request and were able to get our bio-metrics waivers and or appointments. Which center sent you your NOA was it the original center or was it the center your case was transferred too?

If you would fill out your time line it would be easier to assist you and give you better/more information.

Nope. Nothing. From browsing the other monthly threads. We have a long ways to go. We will apply for naturalization in November, so maybe that might speed things up

Hi, this is a few months old but for those who have sent their applications already could answer me this.

Im filing and organizing our files and evidence right now for removing  of conditional status, im also very overwhelmed by the OG post!!! lol Very organized table of content and such and im currently keeping this thread open to orientate myself!

So we had some trips in the past and am thinking if i should clip the original tickets to the itinerary or have to make copies of them?

have to move fast bc our first filing date was 06/27 and i dont wanna get it out too late!

Thanks :)
