I don’t know! I’m hoping it will help us, but I want to think that officers need to be trained, which will create more backlog

Yeah, for some reason I’m not worried at all.   We did send quarterly statements, tax stuff, asset beneficiary evidence, etc.  Not expecting any movement on our case until 2023 anyway.

More than plenty. Sending ALL is overkill but different folks, different strokes, etc. I personally send just the last 6 months and so far no issues. So far... 🤞

Can you keep us posted how yours goes? We won’t have statements for that long, even though we have had accounts since 2019.  But, long story short, having all of those would create flags rather than help our case (inactivity because of the bank’s branch issues and other stuff).  So, we are only planning on sending the last six from a newer bank account (switched banks) that truly show what USCIS would like to see.  This is reassuring that you only sent the last 6.

Certainly. I am April filer for both I751 and N400 and am more active in those threads. My signature is also always updated within a day or two of status change. While I agree that doing a quarterly thing is more sound, you should be fine with the last 6 months too as long your other evidence is strong, mainly comingling of finances, property/residence, insurances (spouse as beneficiary), etc. On top of all that, having a kid probably seals the deal. Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much. Good luck with your cases!

About the bank statements, I think one has to send what you have/ what you feel confident sending. For some, feeling “confident” means sending the last six. For some others, it means quarterly. Yet for some others, it’s all the bank statements. We sent all of them because we had them and we use that account daily, so why not.

Regardless, I feel that if you are not going to send them bank statements at all, or if you’re going to send the last six, that guarantees a short but sweet explanation. Again, not mandatory, but to me you have to connect the dots for them

As a past government agent I always hated big piles of documents. It's time consuming and actually annoying.

We are kinda beating this bank statement issue to death. If you look at the instructions for the I-751 under "Evidence  of Relationship" It says in that paragraph to submit documents from the date of marriage to the present date! So if a person followed these instructions  that would include  monthly bank statements from the marriage date up until  you sent your ROC. Granted folks have sent less and there was no problem same as folks sending monthly statements and there was no problems. However, search VJ and you'll  see where folks use to get RFEs for not sending monthly statements.

All we really care about is getting approved. If you got approved sending  quarterly  statements or less hoorah. If you got  approved sending  in monthly statements  hoorah too. But you must let the filer make their own mind up how they want to do it. Don't  tell them it's overkill when it comes right out of the  instructions!
