I did not. I was planning to next week if I didn't hear anything. We filed the end of January, so you should definitely send a request.

My husband is the Brazilian. We are heading to Brazil in May for 3 weeks. We cannot wait!

got an update that our case was sent from the Texas office to another.  I will let you know when the notice arrives in the mail to see if it gives more details.

Received the letter today. Our case was transferred to the National Benefits Center in Missouri. Hope they are faster!

How are you being notified that your biometric is being waived?  My packet has been accepted around the end of Dec 2021, but when I check the USCIS status page it just says packet is accepted and transferred to the California processing center.  I have received the NOA to extend the Status for Conditional Permanent Residents, but have not received anything regarding the biometrics.  Should I wait longer, or do I need to ask about the biometric?  I'm hoping it gets waived as we already got a biometric in 2019-11-19 for our AOS interview, but have not received anything in the mail about it.

Looks like people are getting letters in the mail with the biometric waiver notice, but it's taking a few months before they get it - I think people having to go for biometric appointments are getting those notices much more quickly.

If you're worried you've missed a notice, you could check your case status online and see if anything's changed there first.

I wasn't notified. I just did a SR for a missing biometric letter (but in reality I just wanted them to look at my file and either tell me to do biometrics or waive them), and that seems to have pushed them to look at my file. By the end of the following week I got a notification that biometrics were being waived.
