I have a question, every page in the packet has something printed on the bottom of the page. Looks like it all was scanned in. Do we need to Redo the whole packet again and mail fresh with new check?

Ideally the same packet should be fine. But just to be safe, I suggest redoing the whole packet and sending a fresh check. You want to rule out another reason to reject the application.

No, you can send the same package. Just take your time to check it. Make sure everything is signed.

Our packet was returned to us today. Rejected because "drumroll" I am stupid and dated the check 1-22-2020...instead of 2022..

You guys... Sigh.. 😭

You are not stupid.  That could have happened to any of us.  That is a real quick fix.  You guys will be fine.  It's just a very minor bump in the road.

Make sure you send it to the correct address. They just changed it depending on where you live.

Oh thank you! Didn't even realize there was a change. I would have sent it back to Phoenix 🤦‍♀️

That’s why VJ is so wonderful. Don’t call yourself “stupid” again. You have young kids, and still do DIY with immigration. I admire you. You got this!

Green card expires on the 27th so hopefully can get it there with plenty of time.

Another question, we are reprinting everything and just noticed that the for I-751 prints out without the barcode, page number and the edition date on the bottom, is this normal? I selected fit to printable area on my printer but it still cuts of the line and bellow on the form

Because every single page has this printed on the bottom

also the letter attached sounds like it's asking us to do new package

They simply mean a new filing, new filing equals another submission. If it was me I would start with a fresh packet, that way you get the piece of mind. It should not be that difficult to re-due everything and submit it again, since you would be including the same proofs and documentation, and the only thing to change would be the actual I-751 and writing a new check or form of payment. Just enclose a letter stating your submission is a refile and attach that letter as they request. You got this it's like being a baby learning to walk when you fall on your butt what do you do? You get up and try again!!!!
