Can it be paid for by credit card, or does it have to be by check? If I can, I'd love to get cash back on my credit card. I see that most pay by check and thought I'd ask.

You can pay with credit card but need to include an extra form: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/g-1450.pdf

We paid by credit card, for the same reason! It went through with no problem.

You can pay by credit card if you use this additional form: https://www.uscis.gov/g-1450

Quote

Complete Form G-1450 and place it on top of your application, petition, or request.

We filed this month too.  They received our packet on January 13-th and I already received my 24 months extension letter.  I think ours is Nebraska center. Lin is for Nebraska, right?

Yes that is correct Nebraska! Welcome to the thread. Seems this month so far the extension letters are coming fairly quickly. That does not have a bearing on how fast they will process our cases though! If you would be so kind and update your time line as that helps other VJers  giving them a baseline of their cases. It also aids in getting your questions answered properly. If your time line is not filled out VJers won't know how to answer should you have a question i.e., are you a K1 AOS etc!

Hi all! I filed early January and already received my extension notice shortly after. Currently away for a few weeks visiting in-laws and saw via Informed Delivery that I'm getting a USCIS letter, and of course I won't be home for a while to open it. What would this most likely be so early in the process since I already received the extension letter & wasn't expecting any updates quite so soon? Thanks!

Was it the biometrics waiver

Hi! I updated in the December filers tab since I got my filing date mixed up - still no biometrics letter, just another copy of the green card extension letter with no explanation or apparent reason which was really strange. My assumption was that the printing quality on the first one wasn't very good, so maybe they re-printed a batch of them. Hopefully will hear news on biometrics soon..

Filed I-751 the other day, notice by UPS it has been received today in Phoenix, AZ. Received by: PONTE. However, it says 'Left at: Dock', should this concern me?

I have photos of my packet showing that I addressed it per the exact address on the USCIS website for UPS Deliveries. I also have the tracking and UPS receipts etc. showing the address and it all matches the website. Any advice? I was on the tail end of the 90 days submitting it, cause well..life. But, it was still sent and 'received' a several weeks before my GC is due to expire. So, I am already running high on anxiety. Any advice is appreciated.

Ugh. I really hope so. I know it is estimated at least 6 weeks before some people are seeing they have accepted the payments and then receiving NOAs shortly after, so its just a waiting game but 'Left at dock' kind of has scared me it has ended up somewhere it shouldn't have 😓

I understand. I think you're fine, since you checked the address. I file mine next week, and I can't even explain how many times I have checked the address. I am an anxious person too, but I think you'll be fine. I think it's because of the weekend, there is nobody there to receive it so they left it somewhere. I bet somebody will pick it up early in the week.

Thank you for reassuring my anxious soul haha. I just hope its somewhere secure given what we need to include. Good luck filing next week! I swear I checked my papers 300 times, well at least it felt like that. I was even checking the address as I was dropping it off with UPS so I completely get it 🤦‍♀️
