Working out, you say... hmmm, now there's an interesting concept.

(I am so lazy... not been near a gym in ages.)

LOL...I've never been to a gym as seeing I've been a semi-fat chick for like my whole life...but last summer I bought an elliptical machine at a yardsale for $5 and used it till it broke! (Which made me think I was really fat but honestly I weighed 220 at the time and the machine should have been able to handle it.)

Long story short, when I got back from Egypt in April, I had a new elliptical machine waiting for me and owed my mom like $500, because I still refuse to set foot in a gym. My fiance wants to be able to pick me up by the time he gets to the states soooo we're both working on it.

Hmmm, I could actually live with one of those, I think - being able to use the thing in front of the TV might stop me getting so bored! This thread has actually made me (almost) feel like working out - I'm ashamed to say there's a gym right here in our building that I can use (for free) anytime I like... but I haven't laid eyes on the place since the day I moved in, and actually can't remember which floor it's on anymore.

I prefer cycling, at least I don't get bored doing that (soundtrack to my cycling: me singing to myself like some madwoman if nobody's around to hear - too scared to listen to my iPod 'cos it drowns out traffic noises!) - I need to get a bike! I miss the one I had to leave in the UK. :(

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Hubby is bike mad. Has quite a few mountain bikes worth a few grand a piece. We sorted one out for me but I must have a bony behind or something, cause could I sit on the saddle? Nnnoo, bloody thing almost made me die.

So, we had to get me a really squishy saddle, which we got for free as he used to work in the bike shop many moons ago. In fact we get all bikes and accessories at cost - which is pretty cool.

Haven't tried out new saddle yet though as hubby has yet to put the bloomin' thing onto said bike.

The early years was a great album. After that Barney became too commercial.

Aww, I want to go cycling now! C. has some ancient bike (well, from the 70s, I think) that he fixed up himself and that he's incredibly proud of, also apparently worth a few grand ( :o ) - just the one, though. When I was mulling over how much I'd have to spend on a bike, he said 'oh, not that much, about a thousand or so' - huh? My old bike cost me about £180, and very nice it was too! I really really really really want to go bike shopping now (no thousand dollar bikes for me, though!), and will definitely be taking saddle-squishiness into account, I think. I remember seeing these reaaaaalllly squidgey gel-filled ones, they looked perfect!

Oh, I did laugh at 'bloody thing almost made me die' - hehehee!!

Jack rocks I love that station! The only problem is when I run along the Strand I do not always get good reception :(

I don't have an I Pod and do not plan on buying one, I have a creative Sport Mp3 player that is flash based I have 3 sd cards each hold 8Gb of music. All i have to do is plug in an sd card go to windows explorer and drag & drop my play list to my SD card.

I bought an mp3 player to use for walking because that is the only form of exercise that I like. I mostly listen to Madonna, Everclear, Korn...just whatever I'm in the mood for at the moment.
