I work out/rock out to System of a Down lately....I'm so frustrated I have to listen to angry music and beat myself up but it gives such a great workout...too bad there's no headbangning smiley thing lol.

What do you listen to when you exercise?

always metal, always angry. just like you said "it gives such a great workout". for me its usually Pantera or Damage Plan. the sound of Dimebag Darrells rough, crunchy guitar seems to make my heart rate go up w/o even working out.

Sparrow, I was exactly the same during the visa process. I normally listen to alternative, hard and punk rock anyways but during the process I listen to angrier, louder music than usual.

I have all kinds of music on my iPod, sometimes I listen to the entire ''The Wall'' album so I don't have to choose what song I wanna listen next. I just can't stand radio music at the gym.

If I go to the gym before work they play pretty decent music at the gym. If I go after work, the music sucks so I listen to my ipod.

Working out, you say... hmmm, now there's an interesting concept.

(I am so lazy... not been near a gym in ages.)

Yeah, it really depends on what kind of mood I'm in...like if I'm in a party mood I listen to all the stuff I stole off my fiance's mp3 player and it's all Shakira and Amr Diab...

but when I wake up and I'm sad that it's another day without him, it's all System, My Chemical Romance, and anything I can keep cranking up LOUD.

Divorced. To hell with him.

LOL...I've never been to a gym as seeing I've been a semi-fat chick for like my whole life...but last summer I bought an elliptical machine at a yardsale for $5 and used it till it broke! (Which made me think I was really fat but honestly I weighed 220 at the time and the machine should have been able to handle it.)

Long story short, when I got back from Egypt in April, I had a new elliptical machine waiting for me and owed my mom like $500, because I still refuse to set foot in a gym. My fiance wants to be able to pick me up by the time he gets to the states soooo we're both working on it.

Divorced. To hell with him.

I listen to a bunch of crazy stuff:

YMCA (Village People)

Sweet Transvestite (From Rocky Horror)

Jane Says (Jane's Addiction)

Most of the songs from Grease

Wishing Well (Terrance Trent Darby)

All Stained from Break The Cycle CD

U Can't Touch This

Livin' La Vida Loca

Some Reba McIntyre

Some Prince

Some Queen

A little Disco

Counting Crows (Lots of Counting Crows)

Live

Ryan Adams

Anything I can sing along with, is what I like.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
