K1 visa expiry date confusion

The visa expired 07 Dec 2021 -- too late to suggest she fly now.

 

OP:  When you contacted the Embassy before and were told to read the e-mail again, that was before the visa had actually expired, right?  That was a good answer at the time, as what you needed to do was self-explanatory then -- but that answer doesnt apply now.  You need to contact them again and specifically ask about the procedure to get the visa re-issued.  For example, you will need to pay a new vIsa application fee -- but you need to find out the proper procedure for doing so.  And, you need to know how to return your passport and any other documents that may be needed.  You cannot just appear at the Embassy and talk to a guard -- guards have no authority to deal with anything like this.
