Hi all! I have a question. If there’s any changes in your online application DS260 do you have to update it?

It depends on what you want to change. If it’s just a name or something like that, then just telll them at the interview. Here’s what the embassy FAQs say

If you have made an error when completing the DS-260 you are required to correct the error and re-transmit it if the error concerns the Background and Security questions or passport number.  Please contact us through our website as we will be required to unlock your case before you can amend the information.  If the error is in the biographic details, you may notify the consular officer on the day of your interview and take no further action

I renewed my passport so my passport number is different now. It’s not an error but do I still need to contact them?

It’s an “error” in the sense that your passport number as submitted is not correct. You can fill out a new DS-260 and submit again. You’ll get a new confirmation which you present at interview so they pull up the correct form…the new DS-260, not your former one. That’s what their website used to say. Now the FAQ indicates that you can get into your DS-260 and just edit the part needed if they unlock it for you.

The way to contact them is here  https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/iv-contact_form/
