Flying to JFK experiences

I have my Visa in hand and are flying out next month.
 

Any London filers travelled to JFK within the past few weeks willing to tell me their experience? thank you x

I flew into JFK toward the end of November from Heathrow, and it was super smooth. I used Global Entry, but I saw that the lines for an officer were short, and everything seemed to be moving along nicely. It was a great experience.

Was this a first time entry with a visa, or just a regular journey?  If this was to activate your visa I'm interested how the Global Entry experience worked for this, did it auto X you, or was there some other process you did to get to speak to an officer to give them the packet?

I should've mentioned in my first post. This was just a regular journey, not a first-time entry on a visa. I've not done a first-time entry with Global Entry.
