Hi there, I filed the N-400 online and have received notice to appear for my fingerprints to be taken. It looks like they reused fingerprints in your case from your pending i-751 petition. Did that just happen automatically or did you specifically flag in the N-400 application that you had previously provided biometrics? Has anyone else had to provide biometrics twice as well?

If USCIS asked you to go to appointment, then go, don't miss it. You may be asked to show up for biometrics whether you had them taken before or not. Biometrics reuse is not guaranteed or promised.

No, I didn't specifically ask for them to reuse my biometrics. That decision is totally up to them and seems to be unpredictable. No, the biometrics they reused wasn't from my pending I-751, it's from my approved AOS, as they also reused the same biometrics from that AOS for the I-751.

Whether they reuse or not isn't a big deal, not really one of things you should worrying about. I've seen many people do biometrics several times (with every new petition) and I've seen people get theirs reused. Anyway, by this time we all know that if USCIS tells you to jump, you ask how high. So just go to your appointment and you'll be another step closer to the end! :)

Hello.

I just wanted to touch base with people who filed for ROC in February 2022.

I send my I-751 on 02/17/2022 and got a text message on 02/23/2022 (MSC receipt number). Shortly after I received a letter for Biometrics Appointment which was on 03/29/2022. Since then the Status of my case is: Fingerprints were taken.

I'd like to apply for N400 - but I'm not sure. I also work for the DOD. I was wondering if I get a letter stating I work for DOD to expedite my case? Anyone experiences?

Can also please someone tell me which service center "MSC" is? I feel like it's the worse center and the one who takes the longes time. I'm also CR1.

MSC= Missouri Service Center.

Also just to add to this, the officer looking at your case is usually the one who requests new biometrics so this is good news! Someone is actually looking at your file I would say.
