I'm at the Missouri center (MSC case number). No further update to my case; status remains at "case was received"

Im sorry but where do you guys check your case status? Which website? I have an USCIS online account but most recent thing I see in there is about the reminder letter for my I 751. But they have my I 751 and all of that already. Do I have to add my case? If so, how?

So today I was checking my status on the USCIS webpage, and I started playing around with some previous numbers to see what the queue looks like. And something that stood out was that my service center (LIN) deals mostly with ROC and I601 waivers of unlawful presence. Out of -say- 20 numbers I checked, at least 15 were 601s. Interesting.

Thanks for reminding me I just updated it. My service center says NBC on the notice for the biometrics but my application number starts with MSC.
mad for my PD, I’m guessing you mean priority date my NOA 1 is dated feb 15th and the biometrics notice feb 26th. Did not see a spot for priority date in the lifting conditions section.

Maybe it’s based on location more than where it was sent? I’m in north New Jersey so I do t know if they are moving a little faster

I doubt it. I’m in Columbus, it’s not supposed to be really backlogged. Plus, my understanding is that when they are at the biometrics stage, cases haven’t made it to the local field office yet. Point being, at this stage, our location is irrelevant imho.

It might be a combination of factors, for example how busy the service center is and how busy the officer working on your case is.
One thing that I’ve noticed is that LIN deals with a lot of 601 waivers, so they might be more backlogged because of those can be quite complicated.
