I've  searched quite a bit on this topic, but always get results for submitting AOS while unemployed. I was out of work because of mental health issues I needed to focus on. My wife was able to come over to the US in June. We submitted my wife's AOS with a joint sponsor at the end of August since I was unemployed at the time. Less than a month later, I got a job in my field as a network engineer making over 4 times the poverty line and we moved and did change of address. Is there anyway I can update the Affidavit of Support reflecting my new employment or do I have to wait for her interview? I'm always worried she'll get denied an interview even with a joint sponsor that makes about 4 times the poverty level because I was bringing in 0 dollars and wasn't receiving unemployment benefits since I voluntarily quit. I'm sorry if this has been addressed and can't find any of the posts. Thanks in advance!

Take an updated I-864 to the interview.......no need to worry.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

It sounds like you have a qualified joint sponsor, so I wouldn't worry about it. If you do receive an RFE for the I-864, you will be able to send an updated one with your income.

If you do not receive an RFE, bring an updated I-864 to her interview. By that time you will have held this job for several months so it will look great.
