Hello,

Please help! I am filing online and they ask me about trips outside USA last 5 years.

Well, I am filing at 3 years (since I am married to the same person US citizen) and I have an issue because... I LIVED outside of the USA till 12/20/2018.

Initially I added the dates

Poland
08/15/2017 - 12/20/2018 (491 days)

So it shows I was outside USA for over a year within last 5 years... Can this somehow trigger some sort of automatic response and find me being not eligible?

Should I just leave this information out then?

I appreciate all responses.

Thank you guys for all the work and time spend aiding immigrants.

They are asking if you left the US after coming in 12/2018

not prior to your visa entry

what is the actual date on the green card ?

Entry to USA on green card is 12/20/2018

then u file under 3 year rule of being in US (going to assume same county for last 3 months) and married 3 years to USC

use N400 and file using the

u only have to count the time outside US after the POE date

no

if your green card is dated 12/20/2018,  you could have applied in September

90 days before the POE date

Ok we lived outside the states from 2014-2018, returned March, 2018, and filed March, 2021

GC issued 2012, we left 2014, returned 2018

Yours is exactly what our application looked like and we filled in all 5 years, the first two of which showed absent.

Nita swore her oath and got her certificate this morning.  There were no issues with this either at the interview or oath ceremony.

LOL we ALSO waited three full years to file 😂.  Just as nervous as you are.
