Hi, I'm a February 2022 filer and I track the cases for my month. I noticed some cases I tracked were approved twice as well – especially one that matches your timeline exactly as it got a first approval on December 20th and then another one on January 12th. I am not sure why and I am not sure if that affects your case at all (hopefully won't affect your NVC timeline), but you're not the only one.

I know it might be hard to talk to someone, but I would at least try calling USCIS to clarify that.

I am pretty sure that december 20th and January 12th is my case. I am worried it might affect my case especially with NVC. I will try calling USCIS maybe they can tell me what date it was sent to NVC if it has been. Hopefully i am able to get onto them.

I only track those filed in February 2022 so it's not your case, but it's eerily similar.
I would try contacting them. Just stumbled to this thread with tips that can help:

For my fellow December 2021 Filers, 

Still nothing significant to report ... 2 denials, 1 RFE and otherwise basically untouched

 

For the rest of the 2021 date range, 
Total (previously untouched) cases opened :    597
So overall not a bad week ... down a little from last week but remember Monday was a holiday

 

Main focus appears to be End of October 2021 and early November 2021
Approval vrs denials remains very good ...
there does appear to be an increase in RFEs but overall good

Hello everyone. This is my first post here but I have been silently reading the comments and wanted to say thank you everyone. This group has definitely offered some comfort knowing we are not the only ones waiting and trying to be patient. We got our NOA1 on October 25th and still waiting. I agree with others that its hard to still wait on ours and see case numbers above ours to get approved. Hopefully not much longer 🤞🏻

I’m in almost the same boat - got my NOA1 same time and still waiting. Hang in there!
