Expired Passport and Timelines

Hey all,

Wondering if anybody has been through a similar situation. I have submitted all documents to NVC which have been accepted. I now have an interview date set. Since submitting my D2 260 - I have got a new passport (old one expired - I uploaded a new photocopy to NVC which got accepted). I have access to both passports, old and new. But DS 260 is tied to my old passport.

Question - what questions (if any) should I expect from the Interview case officer? Is this an issue? Just looking for peace of mind.

Also for anyone wondering on timelines; DQ'd on November 19th - Interview date set January 6th.

No issue.  DS 260 is tied to nothing.

thanks! Got it OK. So another thing is when I try to register my interview appointment at this page https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv (mandatory before interview in UK) it doesn't allow me to do so with my new passport number.

Is it OK to still include my old passport number then tell them at the interview that I want this to be only associated with my new passport? Hopefully that makes sense.

Yes, register with the old passport and take both to the interview.  They'll update and sort it out at that time.
