Hi! I recently got married with my fiancé who is a U.S Citizen, I’m on a tourist Visa also. Could you guide me how we can process the change of status? Thank you so much in advance.

Here are the guidelines. Please read them thoroughly and make sure you have all the documents, to avoid further delays.

Absolutely DO NOT go back home. You need to spend a lot of time reading the guide I posted. Two of the forms mentioned are i765 and I-131. The I-765 is your work authorization, and the I-131 is the advanced parole you need in order to enter the US if you travel abroad while AOSing. They will come together in a combo card (EAD). If you leave the US without this card, your process will be deemed abandoned and you need to start all over, and from abroad. Currently the EAD Is taking 8-9 months.
