That could have been a possibility, but when you look up the case, it specifically says that they "denied your form I-129F" nothing about an expedite request.

yes it's different from the others that says ( case was rejected because improperly filed )

Perhaps a K3 visa to make a CR1 go faster? I think they also fall under the I-129f global statistics and it is impossible to make a difference. Who knows.

Weekly Update (Nov 18th, 2022)

As usual, no real activity, for all of December Filers this week.  My scan observed:

     3 Withdrawals:
     3 Expedite Denials
     1 Approval 😲 (Surprise and congratulations  👏 DEC 13-17 range / WAC2290028xxx)

Also ran the unopened case script to see where activity is at USCIS.
This is the 3rd week in a a row where the bulk of new opened cases has moved towards the end of year by one week.
It appears USCIS is into opening September cases now even though there are still a considerable number of untouched cases in August.

     Week:    Was:     Now:    Delta:
     08/06    64         63             1
     08/13    122       83           39
     08/20    243      171         72
     08/27    442      344         98
     09/03    612      359         253   (Most this week)
     09/10    559      407         152
     09/17    740      712          28
     09/24    724      717           7

Observations suggest:
1) October will start seeing a few cases opened sometime next week.

2) December 1-3 receipt date may see a few cases opened  in 10-11 weeks (Late January)

Some in Dec Group ending 32920 was denied on Sept 21st 2022.. do you see it

Yes, Gary ... I have tracked down some of these ....
One of the "Denials" (not expedite denials) looks like they had sent an RFE and gotten no response for a very long time and then just closed it

That's interesting. That case number is after ours(December 20th) which tells me that they're slowly opening cases for future months, maybe doing cursory/preliminary checks for complete packets?

The usual rejection for incomplete packets is done upon receipt of the packet - that's why you see roughly 10% of cases being rejected after a couple of days. This must be one of the packets that are just randomly on top of the stack of papers.

My experience is similar to Nikobe's   Packets generally are rejected if improperly filed after a few days.
It is quite possible that a case somehow got onto the "wrong pile" or that somehow a priority changed.
(remember when Ukraine/Russia conflict started?  Instantly, anyone from there jumped to the head of line)

I see only 6 (3 of which are Sept 2022 or newer updates) that involve RFE/RFER  in the latest scan.  The 3 old ones might get denied in the coming weeks.

For the 13 Dec case that was the surprise approval, I see:
a RFE (Request for Evidence) was sent by USCIS September 20 2022
Evidence Received by USCIS October 27 2022
    Approval given November 18 2022

In essence, "easy" cases are processed on time, perhaps, advancing by a week every week? While some may be passed onto more experienced officers to end up as RFEs?

not sure ... my "activity" script isn't looking for what the change was ... any change including RFE means they opened it ... I suppose I could run a delta/delta script to see what the activity was ... but the other boards are already showing what the "opening result" was (of which there are many RFEs which are being treated the same with this script as Approvals or Denials)

I wrote this just to look as where they touch previously "untouched" cases only

now you have me curious about the makeup of the Opened cases... maybe I'll add something to see (by week number) what they were opened into (I.e. Approval/Denial/RFE/Other).

a one time peak and maybe only statistics rather than complicating the chart more.

It was denied on Sept 21st 2022. if that's the case then someone there must be looking at Dec 2021 packages because most of others remains the same ( I would like to think so.. i could be wrong) I just want to know why was it denied.

Did you factor in the slowdowns for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays coming up?
