Based on my ongoing analysis of 2022 cases, outstanding I-129F petitions account for an average of 34.28% of any given lot. So 1 in 3.

Yes, some lots contain up to 80% of outstanding I-129Fs while others may have none at all.

My data is based on 38,138 cases so far.

Nice work!

I'll have to look at my counts ...

the December data I post contains detailed data (for Dec receive dates only) every time I scan.   the Burndown looks only at cases that were "Updated/Expidite/Receiced" just to see when they are touched ... I.e. anything else (RFE/transfered/approved/denied/etc.) would mean they did something/anything to it at all.

kinda wish I had my Fiancée give the "diversity visa" a shot when we started this K1 process.

anyone attempted this alongside the K1?

https://dvprogram.state.gov/application.aspx

K-1 should still be faster at this point but tempted to throw in just in case.   any ideas would be helpful

I applied for dv visa back in October 2021 and k-1 December 2021,
dv visa result may 2022 not selected, I applied this year too just in case my k-1 got denied for any reason

I run numbers with a friend a few times a month. Heres a screenshot of our December data. Nothing is really going on. Check back in a few months and watch August for now.

And yes, you can always apply for the DV. However, the DV lottery rate has a ~0.4% chance of selection.

Oh ####### thats November. Just kidding here is December. Hardly any difference!

I'll have my december scan data posted tomorrow ... yes, no real activity at all hence my burndown chart showing where the USCIS has any activity touching then previously untouched cases .... the second should be an interesting post for most of us.

If your fiance is from Brazil like your VJ profile indicates, they are not eligible to apply for DV.

As Promised here is Fridays December Scan results ... not really much to report other than a few more withdrawls and one denial
The burndown (to see where they are working on previously untouched cases) is running and should be ready in a little while.
Will have that posted tonight or tomorrow.

The first comparison from 10/28 to 11/04 shows clearly that USCIS has opened (regardless of next step or outcome) the majority of cases in the week ~ 8/20

I will periodically update this so we have some sense when they get to our case dates and hopefully it remains as clearly defined as this going forward.

Thank you. Would you be willing to share your code for checking similar petitions, and if not, what does it take to get to a similar level of competence?
