After 70 days, case finally on way to NVC.

Only took congressional rep asking USCIS to get some light at the end of this very dark tunnel

Way to go!  Keep up the determination!! Squeaky wheel! 🥳

Hang in there... Every day is one step closer!

My responses are derived from personal experiences and from the knowledge I have gained from others over time. I do my best but on occasion I could be wrong. Be warned! I am not a lawyer, I am an Engineer!

Today we were finally able to schedule our interview appointment with the embassy! Our interview is set for July 17!

Here is my timeline for your reference:

Noa1: 12/21/2021

Noa2: 03/06/2023

At NVC: 04/25/2023

Case in Transit to Embassy: 05/09/2023

Case "Ready" at Embassy: 05/16/2023

Visa Payment made: 05/30/2023 and the portal on the embassy website for us to schedule an interview was opened to us... however

...no appointments were available for visa interview, the calendar was completely booked and I would receive a "No appointments available at this time. Please try again later" message every time I opened the portal to view the calendar. I checked daily and even made a few inquiries to the embassy regarding no availability to schedule appointments. They advised me that I would receive an email when appointments were made available, and today on 06/14/2023 I received that email and immediately scheduled the next available appointment which was 07/17/2023*

Officially about 1 month away from visa interview. It's been a strenuous process full of bumps and hurdles but we are finally there at the last step!

When was your last NVC inquiry if I may ask?

Friday was the last Public Inquiry I got a response from.  I sent another out immediately since it takes a week to get a response.  Then on Monday, I emailed NVCResearch.  Still no reply from either.

Us representative said he’d inquiry after july inquiry date. USCIS said no flags on the account. I requested level two and they put me in on a list and said a level two would call me within 30 days. Is that normal?

thanks for the advice on irritating USCIS. That makes me happy.

It's crazy to me they just tell you it's inside normal processing times when June filers are getting approved in less than a year. We know it's not in order, but wow, you filed 6 months before. The 30 days for a tier 2 agent seems like the norm. I'm sorry about it, I can't wait to see you approved! Yes, keep bugging them! Even if it's just for your own stress relief.

I tried the it’s clearly not in normal processing time line. I just can’t go too hard at teir one folk. They probably in a call center somewhere making wages and being told to never escalate calls. Man that would be an awful job.
