Analysis: Over the last few months, The data has evolved substantially moving from a normal (narrow) histogram to now a wide range of data being processed.
Other than the last week, the majority of cases worked on were at End of October All of November.
I have stopped reporting on Cases earlier than first week of Sept as activity had reached (and remains) single digit activity levels in opening new cases.
If needed, I can generate a report for those dates as I still maintain / update the data.

A Note about data source and data presented:
This data set is slightly unique from posts I make for December groups in that it counts ONLY untouched cases
It uses a locally generated database for ALL "untouched" cases in 2021 then sorts them into weeks.
For example, Dec 3 (on the graph and report) is the Friday of that week so it also includes November 29 & 30.

It was originally created to get a sense as to when a case date might see activity.
It has evolved in use to see where the majority of activity is.
Data is posted (generally) showing either Fri-Tues or Fri-Fri "Burndown" activity.

This is so incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for doing this!

Thank you for your analysis as always!

Seems to me they really want to wrap up all of 2021 soon, considering we haven't seen a range quite like this before. Maybe an attempt to pretty up the next quarterly report somewhat.

I'm quite worried about the rate of RFEs hovering at over 50% still. I think that's worse than it was in July when the RFE trend first started.

I too think there is considerable pressure not to further extend the 15.5 month average processing time ... it would explain the wide spread of case work as well as to why there is such a reach into December cases already.

Hopefully, none of us get left in the tail of the wave

That 28000 is something December filers should take note of ...
While the case number seems high (and much closer to my batch at 30000) it is actually a Dec 3 Filing.
The 25500 cases are mostly Dec 6th cases which is well below 28000 ...

USCIS Case numbers are only a rough indication of filing date ... There are many such crazy examples
