Looks like it is going to be a good week for K1 Processing at USCIS
Got curious how active the USCIS has been ... and from last friday to today they have opened a good number of cases including 26 in the first week of November (20 Approvals/5 RFEs/1 Other)
Total (previously untouched) cases opened : 475
Official scan will be done Friday as usual

This is an interim scan and I have already deleted it from records just to make sure I give clean results Friday Night (as usual)
I generally try to run my official scan around 7pm PST on Friday.
That said, once we start getting into processing, it may be beneficial to run more often.
How does a 2 times a week (Tues & Fri) or three times a week (M-W-F) feel.

Daily updates (like in other scans) are too frequent in my opinion.

Is that mean they open more cases per week? And thank you for all of your work ☺️.

Not very much going on yet for us December filers.
Expect the burndown to show lots of interesting movement this week.

That scan data should be ready shortly.

Was getting excited thinking I was seeing a few (stray) cases processing deep into November (and then even maybe a December).
Researching a bit deeper, it would appear that there is a new bunch of status's that I have never seen before.

This accounts for many of the unopened cases after Nov 8th.
If I am reading this right, then we still have a few weeks before even December gets started
(sorry if it seemed like it could start sooner).

AND congratulations to those who "received the benefit by other means" ...
not sure if that was lottery or CR-1 but regardless, congratulations.

I assume it's people 'switching' to CR1. Probably lines up with people realising K1 wasn't worth it. Most 2021 people were probably too far in by time spousal was better to see it being worth the switch

Everything at times is in hindsight.. if only one can see the future.. but you still move forward.. I'm an Dec 21 filer.. so i guess it's only a matter of time

Thanks for tracking this down Gary ... will put a few stray bumps in my burndown graphs but will try to figure a way to filter this out.

I have heard from my Fiancée that someone she knows was able to get through the CR-1 process faster in Brazil.  Such a shame that this process is going so wickedly slow.

Hopefully weeka away from seeing real december filings getting processed (fingers crossed)

Seriously, thank you for doing this.

If someone could just show me how to run scripts, I could help out. I'm a 1 April filer, but available to help if needed :)

Look in some of the other groups and you will see a different (text only) status update ..

there is a community of people running that version and they often look for new people/months.   I personally prefer a different dataset and graphical indication so I built my own.

BTW, update likely tonight as I run things Friday

in some of the other boards, the post daily updates which in my opinion is way too often and hard to get a sense if/where the focus is at USCIS ... for now (no activity for Dec 21 filers), weekly seemed more than adequate (especially factoring in Burn Down (other data) charts.

Once Dec starts though, thinking about 2x a week so we can see better when and where they are working

For my fellow December 2021 Filers,

Still nothing significant to report ... 2 denials, 1 RFE and otherwise basically untouched

For the rest of the 2021 date range,
Total (previously untouched) cases opened :    597
So overall not a bad week ... down a little from last week but remember Monday was a holiday

Main focus appears to be End of October 2021 and early November 2021
Approval vrs denials remains very good ...
there does appear to be an increase in RFEs but overall good
