Will address change always delay the process?

I called them several times in between of address change and now. You can do everything right and still be wronged. 

 

In my case, they told me that it absolutely means a delay since my case has to be returned and then I am in a queue to be picked up by the new office. 

 

But yeah, in most cases it is a roulette either way so I wouldn't factor it in my decision making process.

I did my change of address after my AOS was approved. Now I'm getting ready for ROC (yay!) and I'm wondering if I should worry about checking if they got the new address. (I moved to a different State)

I would always double check with USCIS if you move. Even if it's within the same state, you don't want mail going to the wrong address.

I'll call them during winter break. I'm a teacher and right now I'm swamped with work. I also did sign for USPS forwarding and informed delivery, so there's that.
