At immigration court.   Present your case to the judge.  Don't sign anything that states you are volunteering to relinquish your visa/lpr status.

I wanted to post my story but i just realized i did not. :)

So it all started by me coming and overstaying a tourist visa. I meet this amazing guy (proved me wrong later) we decided to get married and start a family.  He proposed and before our marriage he started little by little to abuse me ((didn't even know that was an actual abuse)) pushing me, yelling and eventually beating me really bad. We got in to an altercation where i called the police for the first time and got arrested because i didn't have a legal residence. Long story short i was put in Ice detention and given an NTA i got bonded out from detention and shortly after we decided to get married. (at this time he was adamant about him being a new person and telling me he loves me and will do everything to keep me with him ) I trusted him because i would always blame myself for his behavior i loved him more than anything :( He would black mail me with deportation and would not file anything for me. A year later we moved to another state and the abuse continued until someone reported it and he got arrested and charged. Im planning to file for VAWA but i have this open removal case that i dont what to do about. My next master hearing date is in December this year.

You need an attorney.

This is mostly a DIY site. Every now and then we see some cases with removal/ deportation proceedings, but none have come to report back that I know of. I am a huge advocate for DIY, but for simple straightforward cases. Yours is not. I would at the very least make a consultation with an attorney. Jim Hacking is said to be the "guru" of complicated cases. Try contacting him.

The lawyer needs to be local to attend the court hearing

Gotcha. Well, I thought that it wouldn't hurt for an initial consultation.

I think perhaps the reason you have not seen a lot (or any) deportation or removal posts is because this is a DIY site and those are not DIY cases.

Do you have a lawyer?

Good luck

Yes. I just wanted to share experience if someone had a similar case or faced removal.

Not true.  Because immigration is a federal law and he just needs to be licensed by the bar association of one or more state. Any attorney who meets these requirements can represent you.

Sure but you'll want the lawyer to be present during the actual court hearing, not all lawyers will fly across the country for something like that - hence you get a local one.

That said, we've had lawyers not physically present but present by phone and heard in massive speakers in the court room. 😄

Unfortunately i live in a different state of where the hearing is gonna be held so it would cost me less to pay the fee for the attorney to go then me going back and forth :D I much more prefer to talk to the a attorney in person.  ( also there is always the option to change the venue )
