Just got back. Got the stamp for a year. Very simple & easy process.

Glad to hear it went well! I'm calling USCIS over my lunch break today. Are you giving up on the corrected NOA and just hoping the stamps get you through? Or did they say anything about reissuing the letter.

No I’m going to hold on to the letter as he let us keep both expired GC & letter  . Officer said we can go close to the expiry date of stamp & get it stamped again if we haven’t got the GC by then

I just got off the phone with USCIS, the agent was totally blocking me from getting an InfoPass and instead kept claiming "they will reach out to the office to expedite the letter". Another 30 days of waiting... if the letter doesn't arrive in 30 days I'm calling them everyday until they give me an appointment... 😡 Thank god we god we don't have any immediate travel plans

I don’t understand why is it so difficult for them to just print another letter. Those tier 1 agents are sometime very difficult to deal with. But some are very nice people too. Thank god our local office staff are very understanding & nice people.

I have no idea. I wonder if I had travel plans if they would be more understanding and offer the stamp appointment. Still it's crazy that they make it so hard to get CORRECT proof of status due to THEIR error. I'll keep updating this thread in case someone goes through this in the future. Thanks for sharing your experience BTW, very helpful

exactly me - i just received my notice and there is a typo in my first name 😞😞😞☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

I just read through all of your convo......very frustrated....

 

ok - I did the first step - E request 

next step I am going to send a letter to my service center ...wish me luck 😔😔😔

 

I was thinking to call them but it looks like those agents do not have the ability to update the notice....

 

my forms were typed and printed too.......except my signature........I do think anyone even looked when they create my case.....my name inputted on their notice is different from that on the form I printed........

 

I wonder they have a machine to scan my printed forms and somehow is being misread and populated in the system with a typo

I look forward to updates from you guys.....fingers crossed!

It’s very frustrating. Good luck with your process. After all the attempts infopass finally worked for us
