SOME FLIGHTS STILL LEAVING MOROCCO THROUGH RAM OR AIR ARABIA FOR US CITIZENS (AND VALID VISA HOLDERS??? MAYBE???) ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES STATE DEPARTMENT GROUP IN CASABLANCA. EMAIL COPIED/PASTED BELOW......American Citizen Services from the US Consulate in Casablanca - ACS - sent out the below email a few hours ago to myself and my fiancé (who got his K1 on Nov 24). They sent out a similar email the first time around, on Dec 1 I think, when the borders were originally going to be closed until Dec 13. Luckily we got out on Dec 4 on an Air France flight through Paris. My fiancé was initially stopped in Morocco saying he couldn’t leave but ultimately, they let him go with me. For more of that story and other info from our experiences,  please check out the US Morococco Visa Discussion group on Facebook (which I have heard is closely related to this VisaJourney group), then you can find me then click my name which will take you to a list of my posts in this group (I think). Anyway, this, the below, is that email from ACS about the current extension of border closing in Morocco until Dec 31 and options to get out until Dec 13…..

Health Alert: Suspension of Passenger Flights Extended through December 31
Location: Morocco
Event: The Government of Morocco has extended the suspension of all regular passenger flights to and from Morocco through December 31.
There are currently no direct commercial flights to/from the United States. Royal Air Maroc and Air Arabia have announced that special outbound flights from Morocco to France and Spain are available until December 13. U.S. citizens seeking to depart from Morocco at this time should book one of these flights directly with the airlines.
We recommend that U.S. citizens enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program at https://step.state.gov/step/ to receive future alerts.
***Effective December 6, all air travelers to the United States aged two and above, regardless of vaccination status, are required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within one calendar day prior to departure, or documentation of recovery in the past 90 days. Additional information about the testing requirements can be found on the CDC website.

I looked on Turkish Air and RAM but couldn't find a ticket from Casa to Istanbul (between Dec 15 and Dec 31st).  On Air Arabia I found a flight from Casa to Istanbul round trip. Only a couple of days with a flight available between now and Dec. 31st, but at any rate there was a flight (   I'm confused!  Are some planes able to leave Morocco for destinations other than the US?

Sounds like it was touch and go for a while, so thank God you were able to leave.  So happy for you both!  Just looking for your consulate review.  Reviews are so helpful if you can manage it.  It says your consulate is Armenia.  Is that correct?
