Each case is separate and both need the same supporting documents

Always just submit anything and everything Immigration asks for or case will go no further

the documents should have your case # ,  both names and both DOB's in upper right hand corner just to make sure they stay in your files (even when submitting them online thru your case # account )

and send the original with the proper English translations

correct, just confused that it is the same exact document but they accepted for my dad but not my mom, and police certificate they accepted for my mom but not my dad.

after submitting do i have to wait another 2 months for a response or they are quicker since they initially reviewed?

Immigration does misplace documents /  picture thousands coming in every day and a hundred or more sitting on a desk

just submit again and relax

Timeframe  :  depends on the country and the embassy and u should expect a long wait because of covid

Please create a timeline and ID your country as the members from that embassy can help u better than the rest of us as regards to waiting times

yep,  data entry people can make errors too

computers don't but people do

the USCIS computer system is flawed (as said by another member whose A number was assigned to another person and he can't do the oath ceremony till this is corrected ) .

so would you say just reupload what was initially uploaded? it says rejected next to the marriage certificate for my mom but accepted for my dad, same document.

last question, have you seen where it says Rejected for a document, and the person uploaded the same doc and it was then Accepted?

yes,  as the document came thru the system unreadable

Labeling docs is not necessary anymore now that NVC processes everything electronically. Years ago, you had to mail docs to NVC, that’s correct. But now you just upload everything on the CEAC portal where each intending immigrant has their own account, so docs can’t get confused anymore.

@Tay123 every resubmission is treated like a first-time submission, so you get placed at the end of the queue again. Look up the current NVC processing times on their website to get an approximate date. I also suggesting joining a thread (e.g. NVC December 2021 submissions).
