Now we are at the NVC stage... we submitted our documents on Novenber 9th. but I also submitted a expedite request yesterday . How long it takes to get an answer for expedite?

Expedites take about 2 months to get a reply. Congratulations on your fast approval.

Thanks. but it makes no sense.... ontheir automatic replies they say to contact them if I don' get a response within 30 days.

EXPEDITE can definitely not take 2 months.. or it's not expedite.😅.  The regular review itself takes nearly 90 days.

I read in other posts people getting their answer in a few days or weeks....

I have seen time lines all over the place, including never.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I think you will be disappointed if you expect anything to move fast, even with an 'expedite.'

Contact the embassy/consulate you’ll deal with directly as well. I’ve seen that some embassies are quicker to respond than NVC is, and your NVC expedite is really just asking NVC to contact the consular section to see if they are willing to give your case priority. If you contact them directly and they agree to expedite, they’ll just contact NVC themselves and ask for your case file to be sent over and you’ll take your documents directly to your interview then, bypassing NVC

Did you request an Expedite on your I-130 at NSC?

No. I applied for K3 a few weeks before my i130 got approved
