If you filed for his adjustment of status, then you don't need to worry about his B visa. He is no longer under the B status. As Crazy Cat said above, your husband is now under what is known as "authorized stay". That means the US government is granting your husband temporary permission to be inside the USA while your husband's adjustment case is pending. "Authorized stay" is NOT the same as legal status (permanent resident) or anything like that. It's temporary until the adjustment case is closed. Make sure your husband does not leave the USA until he gets the EAD/AP.

Really?  Have you done any research at all about the adjustment of status process?

EAD - employment authorization (so he can work while waiting for the Adjustment process to complete)

AP - Advanced Parole (so he can travel outside the US while waiting for the Adjustment to complete.  If he leaves the US without an approved AP and the Adjustment process is not complete, the adjustment is deemed abandoned).

He will be on B status till i94 expiry, filing for AOS doesn't change the existing status.
