Hi, I trying to collect the evidence of I-864 now.

Here is what I would like to ask.

• for I-864 part6 No.7, do I need to attach the evidence of income of latest year? Because they say "you're not inquired unless US Government ask" in the instruction (as attached pic), However it seems like every one submit the evidence, so I'm confusing.

please help this, thank you

As this is the last month in 2021,  you can if it makes u comfortable submit your last W2 as it will show yearly income to date

but u do not need to

some like to do it as 2020 income were hurting for many USC's because of covid

you will have to submit tax returns for 2021 (1040 with W2,  1099, and 1099R or IRS transcripts)  if interview is after 4/15/2022
