PLEASE READ WITH UNDERSTANDING!! What I said was that those who filed BEFORE us, like THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN WAITING 4 YEARS OR MORE SHOULD BE FIRST IN LINE NO MATTER THE CATEGORY) those who have been waiting 4 years or more while the other President was in office (should be the FIRST to be processed!!!!)  If you have a problem with them being processed first, talk to your Congressman. I do however take offense to the AGED OUT PARENT comment. Very Rude. Your comment should have been censored but since it was not, I responded. No worries. I will consider the source and move forward. Good day to you.

My apologies....BUT it seems to me, and correct me if I am wrong, that your mom took advantage of the recent situation where Mexico opened visa access to Peru (I know, I live here in Peru). Then, she crossed into the US, ILLEGALLY, and NOW you want to just --presto--make her a legal US resident?

Not sure what the problem is if the US immigration immigration system allows that.

And if I can LEGALLY DO IT...........what's your concern!  EVERYONE on this site have different reasons for applying for our families, and the reasons are our OWN. Please let's keep it like that! Good day to you sir.

What part of this was legal? Did she have an interview at the Peru embassy? NO. Did YOU file the proper papers for her before she crossed the border from Mexico into the US? NO. Doing immigration illegally should NOT result in an immigration benefit. PERIOD. BTW, THIS stuff is exactly why so many people get denied tourist visas...it's fraud, plain and simple...and it reflects badly on all others....but I hope you're happy!

And then you (and/or others) have the nerve to ask why the process takes so long?

The sole intent of this forum is to ask with or without the nerve and share knowledge, so no big deal.

Huh? So, Mexico, in a fairly recent action, opened up visas to Peru. This persons mom apparently took advantage of that to go to Mexico and then cross into the US (illegally) and now is complaining about the process to make it legal....that's ok with you? While all of us wait for appointments at the embassy?
