I received the same exact RFE just yesterday. What is the most recent I-864 form? The one I see is 9/30/2021 expiry date as the most current version

Exactly one of my points - they make it sound like I used the wrong version but I pulled it down from their site. Their site says the below but as you point out it says it expired 9/30/21.

Just send exactly what's asked on the RFE letter, new completed and signed i-864 form, tax information from the most recent tax year (2020 federal tax return and supporting documents or tax transcripts), and proof of current income (6 months pay stubs and letter from employer). That's it, don't overwhelm them with unnecessary paperwork. Good luck.

pretty much the same RFE letter I got.  I did make a few mistakes, like listing my wife's maiden name and then married name.  They wanted copy of tax for 2020,

it made some sense in that I don't have an employer and use some investment income  each year. But I had signed it and it had the SS number on it and the number in family was correct.  So these lazy workers just cut and paste on these RFE. Probably worse at  writing  English  than me. .  But I did send an official transcript from 2020.

Also I found out my wife's birth certificate is a 2 year old reissued one so it made sense that they wanted a letter from the government explaining this. And also  we  requested and added the translation companies letter saying they are certified to translate.   One company translated all of our documents as the RFE says each translation company you used needs this type of letter. Did you have any translated documents.

Also I can imagine this is a good way to clear the govt workers que on Fridays. Just send an FRE and case is off  your docket.

This is the exact same RFE we received. Similarly to you, I make well over the income guidelines and had completed the document and given the relevant info upon our concurrent filing. We did not include W2s but had given the tax transcripts, a letter from my employer, 6 months of pay stubs.

Just do everything the letter says. I uploaded all requested info within a few hours of receiving the RFE, and the status was updated soon after.

Did you resubmitted i-864 online and uploaded it?

We did. After the upload, shortly after the status changed to "RFE response received" or something similar.

It's been radio silent ever since. Getting kinda anxious.

With everybody getting these RFE's, I am starting to suspect that they send them out automatically for all applicants. Maybe they do it to make sure your income is stable. Especially if you applied 3-6 months ago. Things change.
