Hello,

Sorry, I have read through many name change posts on here and some are close to my situation but I really want to make sure I get this right. I have two first names and two last names. I have already entered the US and gotten married and I am still in status for 2 months under the initial K1 entry (if any of that matters). I am filing my AOS and say my first names are A B and my last names are Z Y. When I file can I enter A for my first name B for my middle name and use my husbands name as my last name on the AOS? I will include my prior A B X Z name under former names but I want to make sure that this is OK to do.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the help everyone. Just to close the loop i went to take care of the social security card today and was able to take my name A B for the first and X Y for the last and fill out A for my first name B for the middle and use my new married name for my last without issue.

I did end up having to go two times because the first person didn’t know what they were doing and couldn’t answer any of our questions and even failed to have us fill out the right paper or copy the documents correctly 🙁.

It does suck that you are at the will of the person working being competent because some people get rather rude when you try to ask them questions.
