Hello, so I recently filled an inquiry on my case status for an i129f. I'm pretty frustrated about the response I got as it truly is basically like getting no response at all. Has anyone else gotten this response recently, and what have you done about it?

The status of this service request is:

On 11/20/2021, you or your representative contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about your Form I-129F because you believe your case is outside normal processing times. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Thank you for your inquiry. We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending application/petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload. We will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in the most efficient manner based on our available resources. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

I don't understand how there is absolutely no update at all, has my case even been opened? It's over 8 months processing time.

I recommend you fill out your timeline so members can understand your situation better and therefore provide better responses --> https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=407712

I’ve been on VJ for a year and half and I have seen this boilerplate response to an inquiry numerous times. They won’t ever give you a specific, tailored response. Some ended up waiting 10, 12 months and sometimes even more. Unfortunately that’s all you can do.

Since you filled in your timeline, look under processing times to see what NOA1 date is currently being processed. I think you may be close to receiving your NOA2.

Where do I find this? Are you talking about the processing times page? It just says 6-8 months.

I don't think I'll hear back this year with the holidays around the corner it's seeming less and less likely.

I hope you will be the lucky random ones. You never know. If not, we just need to hang in there. For Canada, NOA2 is far from over lol

Same with India, who knows what's happening there! But at least I know next step is happening.

Any reason why certain i129fs get processed quicker then others? I inquired about mine since it was past processing but got a generic response that we have no timeframe but are working hard z
