Good morning everyone,   My NVC case number was assigned yesterday! (NOA2 Dec 6)   I spent an hour calling today and finally received it.

Got our case number but instead of Turkey they have us for UAE. I don't know why. Now i emailed both embassy if my case can be move from UAE to Turkey.

This morning I received an email from the NVC stating that our case will now be forwarded to the embassy. The embassy will now proceed with the case.    We will have to wait for the next instru

We are still waiting to receive an email instructions!

Have you obtained your case number by calling NVC?  If so, does it show as "Ready" when you check here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx.  Note that you have to select "Immigrant Visa" for K-1 visas.

 

If it shows ready, you can go ahead and fill and submit your DS-160.

It shows it ready since last week but I contacted us embassy in uae to see if I can submit my ds160 they told me to wait as they are sending the instructions very soon. That was 3 days ago. So I am just waiting
