USCIS updated today, We have a new time Jan. 12th, 2022 11am   no problem making that date

I received a phone call late on a Wednesday night from the wife of one of my team who was currently offshore on an oil rig in the middle of the North Sea. She was calling me to say she had just been called by the USCIS to say that her husband’s oath ceremony had been scheduled for the coming Friday. He had been waiting 2 years for this. There was no way he was going to postpone.
 

It then took a logistical miracle to arrange for a helicopter to divert to the oil rig on which he was on to bring him back to Aberdeen very early the next morning (Thursday). From the heliport, he run to the international airport next door  and got on a early morning flight to London then onwards to New Orleans. 
 

He was back in Aberdeen by Tuesday afternoon after getting his passport expedited and back offshore by Thursday. No rest for the wicked. 
 

Sorry I don’t have that power anymore to arrange for a helicopter for your wife but thought I’d share the story…

Amazing story. If this was me in this situation I would move earth in order to make it because I know how USCIS works, but I also understand what has happened to the OPs wife and work schedule. You can only hope and pray that they will reschedule to Jan. 2022, because USCIS is very on part with delaying a lot of things, but with the exception of cashing those checks for all the fees they get. I wish you and your wife goodluck and I really really hope that USCIS will schedule her Oath for Jan. 2022.
