The parents?  Well, given the short time span between gun purchase and murder spree, it will be hard to judge them as bad parents when it comes to gun discipline.  While I have zero issue with a parent buying someone a gun (I was gifted my first gun at the ripe young age of seven), with said purchase comes GREAT responsibility of teaching proper gun use.

My thoughts?   Well, as Americans, we have all seen a lot of mass shootings done by child killers... but I have never ever seen "parents" of a killer behave like this before that's for sure.

The prosecutor  messed up? Is that why they ran away and hid in the basement of a business?  They had plenty of opportunity to surrender.
