Hi everyone, I send in i129F Petision July 15 2021 with money order for $535 i check money order  they cashed it august 9th , but i still haven't receive anything from uscis , no message no email  nothing at all , is my aplication lost or is it really take that long to process, thank you  .im new here

Not normal to wait that long, the NOA1 commonly takes 2-4 weeks to arrive.

You receive a message just if you included the G-1145 form with the I-129F.

 

Call USCIS customer service and inform them you have not received the notification.

Thank you for reply , im not sure about G-1145 my lawyer did it for me , but when i call him he say we just need to wait for uscis to send me Case# ,

Almost five months waiting for the notification indicates something went wrong.

Probably your lawyer received it and it is somewhere in his office.

 

And an additional comment: unless you are dealing with a particularly difficult immigration case, a lawyer is not really necessary.

First, it will be a receipt number, not a case number.

 

Case number is reserved for the NVC stage, when they assign a case number corresponding to the embassy/consulate. 

 

For example, our K1 NOA1 receipt number was CSCxxxxxx.  Our case number was KEVxxxxxxx.  (We did a K1 and then did a CR1 -- long story).

 

I would hammer your lawyer to keep you up to date on your status.  It seems they are just half-a**ing it.

Some had success getting their receipt number when using the chat on the uscis page. Type live agent and when you get one they might be able to locate your case using personal data.
