hello everyone,

I had a car accident about a month agoo

the accident wasn t my fault and so they have to pay for all my medical bills and damages and stuff...

I keep getting calls from this girl trying to get me to sign some forms and so she will send me a check balh blah balah

I keep telling her give me sometime I am not sure if I still need some medical help since I have been getting headeake (not sure if it is because of this visa thing too) and most importantly is beause of a smal pain in my mid back each time I turn my head forward or to the side ...I told her that I think my body needs some time to heal ( I don t believe in doctors so much) but no she keeps calling calling calling

and so she motivated me to seek a chiriopracter..and ohhhh boy he was happy I came in :D

he took extrais and he is giving me this electro traitment ..he said he would take care of all the payment ####### thru the insurance and so I am getting more traitment for my back pain ...

how do you guys feel about traitment thru a chiropracters??????? do you have any bad experiences specially if you had a car accident?

wish you guys to be safe all the time

I was in a car accident with a drunk driver when I was 16. He drove across all lanes of traffic and I hit him dead on going 45-50mph. I got whiplash and slipped/dislocated 5 vertabrae in my lower back. I went to a chiropractor for months to put my back into place and a physical therapist to work on strenghthening the particular muscles around those vertebrae. I really think that it did me a lot of good. They both eventually showed my exercises and stretches that I can do on my own at home to keep my back strong and to put my back into place when it "slips" out. I still have significant back problems years later but usually just take care of it myself with exercises and different techniques.

Hope you start feeling better soon! Car accidents are no fun at all. Also be careful what you sign...make sure you understand it all very well before agreeing/signing anything.

I had a car accident in 1995. I had whiplash, damaged rotator cuff and some small stitches. I saw the chiropractor for about 5 months - originally every 2 days, then gradually increasing until once a week, then every 2 weeks until the rotator cuff had healed. I cannot speak highly enough of how much the chiropractor helped and I highly recommend chiropractic treatment from a good chiropractor while you recover. There are more treatments available besides just straightforward adjustments including the muscle ectro-stimulation treatment you describe and ultrasound. Don't worry especially if the insurance is paying for it - it should help.

Since I have recurring back problems I have regular chiropractic treatment still - I can always tell when I need an adjustment and feel so much better afterwards.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
