Without long-term data, we have no idea of the potential effects of this shot on any number of bodily systems.  We certainly know the short-term effects on the cardiovascular system.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I would rather risk a very very small chance of a long term effect from the FDA  approved vaccine than risk a very real possibility of death and other known problems from covid.

That's just me. I think the difference in me and some of you. I could care less if you take the vaccine.  Why are so many of you freaked out, talking about absurd lawsuits, taking data and bending it to fit a narrative and making other claims of death and injury I find suspect, if you have no plans of taking the vaccine.   ?????

You keep saying respect my decision to not get vaccinated but seem to have little respect for those that do.

I love you guys but I don't get it

I actually got one of the one's not fully approved yet by the FDA, but everyone's circumstances are different.  In my case, long-term is not as much as say a five year old kid, or an 18 year old, etc.  I believe most of the lawsuits are about forced vaccines like we are seeing in Europe or mandates that may destroy someone's career.  Heck, the leaders in Europe are saying the Nuremberg Codes need to be thrown out.  There are so many unknowns, the least of which are the long-term effects of the virus as well as the long-term effects of the vaccine, but it is scary to see the massive power grabs going on by governments right now.  This is leading to a dark place.  I have no problem with anyone that made the informed consent to get vaccinated, I do have a problem with people pushing that view on others.

Maybe I'm missing something but I haven't seen anyone on this forum propose prohibiting any consenting adult from getting the shot if they choose to do so. I have seen the opposite however. More than one person on these forums has advocated for mandatory shots. I know you are not one of those people as you have stated you are against mandates. But I have no clue where you are getting the idea that anyone on this forum wants to prohibit consenting adults from getting the shot.

I think what I am trying to convey, is why all the uproar and railings against the vaccine if you choose not to get it.  Some would argue I don't eloquently construct the point I am trying to make.

Okay I get your point now. I can't speak for everyone but the way I view it the shot is dangerous and if I have information that backs up that point of view I have a responsibility to warn people. What they do with that information is totally up to them. I don't know if you were trying to imply this or not but I don't believe warning people about the dangers of the shot even comes close to being as much disrespect for someone's decision as advocating for forced vaccination. For the record I believe consenting adults should be able to ingest or inject any substance into their body they want to (why I am for legalizing all drugs). That doesn't mean I endorse the use of those substances. On the flip side of that I oppose forced ingestion or injection of any substance for any reason. I am truly pro choice unlike the leftist abortionists who want to micro manage every other aspect of your life.
