Recently my interview got waived as well.

we exepide due to a mix of long deployment and pregnancy, and the medical that they requested show that.

I entered the US to meet him in September and in November (2020) we got married. He proposed out of the blue. Then I decided to apply in December, it got accepted in January.

we didn’t had much official things, so we included deers, health insurance (you can be included even without a ssn), life insurance, credit cards, packages in my name at the adress, stuff about the marriage (even a song my dad composed for us), affidavit (not notarized but with id of the people, signed as e affidavit, and contact info), gifts and some communication that included not just the romantic things but also day to day life and travel plans, plus communications with his family (Christmas cards, post and so forth).

I also advise you to take your time to collect all the financial and fiscal evidence. That can make the difference ☺️ I shared something on the forum if you need it.
