Hi everyone!

I just wanna ask, how to find out if the case has been forwarded to the USEM?Can I use the NVC automated?

IR1/CR1 (CSC)

(F2 category)

May 31, 2006 - sent I130

June 5, 2006 - Received by USCIS

June 20,2006 - I130 notice date

January 25, 2007 - Hubby became a naturalized citizen

January 26, 2007 - sent mail to upgrade from F2 to IR1 and also upgraded it over the fone (USCIS told him to wait for 45 days for I130 to be upgraded)

March 13-Received a letter from USCIS asking for a copy of naturalization cert plus a cover letter entitled I130 Request for Upgrade

March 20- faxed the papers

March 21- TOUCHED!!! finally after 9 months...

March 22- Approval notice

April 2 - Case received by NVC and was assigned a case #.

April 30 - DS3032 & AOS Fee Bill have been generated and sent out

May 2 - NVC accepted agent of of choice w/c was e-mailed the same day DS-3032 was generated

May 7 - IV Fee bill has been generated

May 15 - Both AOS and IV fee bills received in the mail.

May 16 - Mailed both bills to NVC via USPS (overnight)...

May 25 - NVC finished processing AOS fee payment.

May 28 - I-864 package was generated and mailed out

May 29 - NVC finished processing IV fee payment

June 4 - DS230 was generated

June 8 - I-864 package was received in the mail

June 13 - sent I864EZ to NVC

June 15 - DS230 received in the mail

June 20 - DS230 sent to NVC

June 25 - DS230 received by NVC...I864EZ completed

July 6 - CASE COMPLETE!

Aug 15 - INTERVIEW DATE! Approved!!!

Oct 2- it's time to leave...= ) = (

yes you can use that but sometimes its not updated and its better to talk to some real person from there, although you'll be put on long hold but you could call them early in the morning... what i did though since i couldnt get thru by calling, i sent them an email and usually they would reply 3-4 days for the update. i tried it 3 times, the 1st and the 2nd try they said there's no case number yet or something then the 3rd email, they gave me the case number and that they have send it the USEM already... good luck!

4/15/2010- sent my N-400 via fedex overnight

4/16/2010- signed and delivered

4/29/2010- check cleared

no, you will not be able to find out by using the NVC automated system. I found out by calling the Embassy. 011-63-2-528-6300 ext 5184 or 5185. you call also call Dept of State at 202-633-1225 press1,0,0.

by automated u mean just the voice (recorded) that will instruct you to press your NOA/case number (not the manila case # but prior to that)? coz if thats it, i tried that too but it always tells me that they dont have my case etc. ( which some members told me from this forum that the automated from the nvc doesnt really update my case in their automated since as soon as the nvc will have our file they will directly forward it to the embassy. im on k1 so im not sure with ur case)... so maybe you can try see if it works on you but it is recommended what roy/yazi have said to call the dept of state. i did that too twice and they gave me specific answers... calling the manila embassy could be frustrating esp if you're living in phil.lol... so better to have the petitioner (if you're the beneficiary) call the embassy. good luck... hope that helps...God bless

ronmay, yes u are on K1, that is why the automated does not apply to u...those who are on K1 should always talk to a rep...they can't use the automated...I'm not sure about those who are on IR1 like me...if we could actually find out thru the automated...
