So my spouse and I submitted all docs on Oct 30, 2021 and NVC reviewed us on Feb 2. All docs were accepted but one. We uploaded the requested document (police cert) the same day, but they have not reviewed it yet. My concern is this - if we end up waiting 90 days all over again,  it will be around the end of April when 2021 tax filings should be available. Will we get a new RFE for new tax docs by that time, even though all of our financial docs are already accepted?

you will not get an RFE for the new tax documents but CO might ask for them during the interview as they become required after April 18, 2022

HI guys, Do you guys know if they approve cases when the petitioner have a combination of W2 and 1099(unemployment benefits)? Because of the Covid- I temporary was unemployed- but when I filed taxes I was still over the poverty line. Now i am re-employed back with the same employer and sent a letter plus the most current pay stubs. As well, I uploaded a saving account as a proof of assets. I am freaking put cause I dont know if that is gonna be enough.

I also sent in my W2 which included unemployment benefits. They accepted the paperwork and stated that I may need a co-sponsor and it is up to the discretion of the officer that interviews my spouse. I have seen on the forums that as long as you can provide 6 months of paystubs of your current job, they tend to accept it wothout the co-sponsor.

I was overthinking and being afraid that even though we were going through tough times with covid and losing jobs-  if they see the 1099- unemployment benefits, will ring a red flag.  With my 2020 W2 +1099 - I was over the poverty line ( not too much but my income was around $24k), thats why I added a proof of assets( my saving account with money on it). As an addition to it- I added a letter from my employer saying that I was re-employed with the  restart date and an hour pay+ the most recent pay stubs from my job. So now, I dont even know what to expect. Btw, Thanks for the reply!

Hi,

I got DQ today, any idea how long it take to get interview date?

Congratulations.

For the interview scheduling, it is country-specific as some consulates in some countries are very backed up and others move pretty quick.
