I logged on every afternoon to check the account - but it's not necessary, the email is automatic as soon as your account is updated. As someone already mentioned, the email just states that something has been updated, then you should have a message or 2 on your NVC account saying 'DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED'

Hello Guys,

 

I am still waiting to get reviewed my documents submitted on early October. I just went across DS-260 form and found I did not select yes/no in Have you traveled to any countries/regions within the last five years. Did anyone encounter this minor issue? Could this be a reason my documents delayed?

Did you try calling NVC? When you check your status, does it say that you DS-260 was received?

You should call NVC for sure

I will try to call through today. Yes, all documents and forms have status "submitted"

Yes, we submitted one, took 2 months for a response and it was sent from a contracted external company who offered no insight whatsoever. Pretty much along the lines of "Please read the website for information on documents submitted and await a review of your NVC submission".

 

Highly recommend phoning and speaking to an agent, the online form is a waste of time, in my opinion.

JUst to double check- the DS-260 form should have the Status COMPLETED, right? Cause the financial and civil documents have the status SUBMITTED.?

THis is how it should be, right? Aos and civil documents with the status SUBMITTED, and The IV application (ds-260) should have the status COMPLETED.. i just freaked out about that huh
